This panel was custom made to Fit the Garner Lane Light Box in Dandenong where the series was installed.
The Missing artefact is a letter, one of many, shared between the Girl and her Best friend who stayed in Argentina.
Before the digital age, communication between loved ones was a waiting game that would take weeks and even months.
The mutated animal (Magpie mixed with Capiburra) symbolises the transformations migrants go through in their attempt to reconcile their divided realities of HOME.
